This page explains how to delete your Hjärnfokus account and what happens to your data when you do.

There are two ways to do it: delete it yourself in the app, or email us and we will do it for you. Both remove the same data.

1. Delete it yourself in the app

You can delete your account from inside Hjärnfokus, without contacting anyone.

Step 1 — open your profile

Open the menu (☰, top right) and choose Min Profil. Your account’s email address is shown there. Tap Ta bort konto (Delete account).

Step 2 — confirm on the delete screen

The next screen asks you to pick a reason, then confirm. If you have an active subscription, cancel it in the App Store first — see below.

The account and its data are then removed. This cannot be undone.

2. Or ask us by email

If you have already removed the app, cannot sign in, or would simply rather we did it, email us and we will delete the account for you.

Write to support@mindfulnessapps.com with the subject Delete my Hjärnfokus account, and include the email address the account is registered with.

Please send the request from that same email address. We use it to confirm the request is genuinely yours, because a deletion cannot be undone.

We acknowledge requests within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days of confirming your identity. If anything delays it beyond that, we will tell you why.

What is deleted

Your account record — name and email address
Your saved progress and any session log kept with the account

Your subscription is separate

An active subscription is held by the App Store, not by us, and deleting your account does not cancel it. Cancel it yourself in Apple's subscription settings, or you will continue to be billed.

Cancel the subscription first, then delete the account.

Records we must keep

Purchase and billing records are held by the App Store under their own terms; we cannot delete those on your behalf. Where we are required to retain a record for accounting or legal reasons, it is kept for no longer than the law requires and is not used for anything else.
